Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Following her film debut with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actor. She began her acting career with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film was starring Rick Rosenthal as well as Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest film productions for high school ever made. Although the film's budget was only $1 million, the film has grossed more than $50 millions. Also, she began to appear on a number of television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. In April of 1980, the show started airing. It was aimed at teens. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she appeared. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her stellar performances which include the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
